A FUNNY STORY
My dad paid an account to a creditor in full and recieved an," account paid in full letter. A month or two went by and he started getting letters in the mail from this lender saying he owed five cents, a nickle. He must of recieved thirty letters from this lender saying he owed a nickle. Finally my dad was fed up with those letters and took his paid in full letter to the creditor to show he had paid all his monies in full. I find this very funny because the stamp alone for each letter sent to collect the nickle, cost at least three times the nickle or more. What kind of wasteful people would do this? Who would send a letter in the mail for a nickle? The funniest part was that it was an error on the creditors part.
